The only kickstarter project worth following right now…because it brings donuts to my hood.

Our new neighborhood restaurant, 606 R&D, in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn is set to open in early 2012.

Support our project and send the aroma of donuts, cinnamon, brown butter, hot cider, and freshly brewed coffee down Vanderbilt Avenue. We’ll open early and make fresh donuts all day long, seven days a week. Proceeds from our campaign will cover the costs of our donut making program:  staff training at Dreesen’s Donut College (the Ivy League of Donut Schools), starter ingredients, donut boxes, donut bags, a mixer to make the donuts and finally (drum roll please), a “Donut Robot,” the donut-making machine. It’s a 3 foot contraption complete with a river of hot oil and a flipping device. Watch it and be amazed!
